Description:
PSA principle medical usage oxygen concentrator
Air source is compressed by the air compressor, after dust removal,
oil removal, and refrigerated/Adsorption drying, it passes through
the diaphragm oxygen concentrator solenoid valve, the oxygen
generator diaphragm normally in 4 way or 5 way (dual exhausting
type),the compressed and filtrated air enters into the left
adsorption Tank, the tank inside pressure increasing, and the
nitrogen molecules in the compressed air due to volume size and
pressurizing factors, they are adsorbed by zeolite Molecular sieve
bedding at the bottom of adsorption tank , the un-adsorbed oxygen
molecules passes through the adsorption molecular sieve bed, enters
into oxygen storage tank. This process is called left adsorption.
After the left adsorption process is over, the left and right
adsorption tanks connected by a valve to balance the two tank inner
pressure, actually the left tank high pressure drop equal to the
right tank inner pressure. This process is called pressure equalization, and the duration is about 3-5 seconds. After the pressure
equalization process is over, the compressed clean air passes
through the diaphragm oxygen generator solenoid valve, and enters
into the right adsorption column and inside the adsorption column
pressure increasing. The nitrogen molecules of the air are adsorbed
by zeolite Molecular sieve bedding at the bottom of right
adsorption column, oxygen molecules due to size of volume could not
be adsorbed, it will pass through the molecular sieve bed and
enters into the oxygen reservoir tank. This process is called right adsorption ,it lasts for tens of seconds. At the mean time, the nitrogen
molecules which adsorbed in the zeolite molecules of the left
adsorption tower is released because of depressurizing state in the
tower, pumps out and exhausting to atmosphere, This process is
called desorption, desorption process result in the starting over and renew capacity
of zeolite molecular sieve in the tower, VICE VERSA, When the left
adsorption tower is adsorbed, the right adsorption tower is
desorbed. In order to completely exhausting the nitrogen released
from the molecular sieve to the atmosphere, the oxygen The
desorption tower is blowed through a normally open back-flush
valve. This process is called backflushing. It carries out at the same time with desorption. After the right
adsorption is completed, it runs the process of pressure
equalization, and after that comes the process of switching to the
left adsorption, so on the system continues to circulate, which
enable high-purity and big flow oxygen to be produced continuously.
